The july 16 is here to raise the bar for the creative world and integrate its spirit into the culture at large. We intend to exhibit creativity and showcase talent with an approach never seen before.

We select the few ones who can truly package yesterday with today and the superficial with the thought provoking. We are here to initiate and support artistic and cultural processes, to make them take place.

Making play with scale and context, the work of this duo founded by Michael Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak in 1992 is fuelled by transpositions of media and form that trigger corresponding effects of meaning. Thus M/M (Paris) exhibitions function equally as updates of their archive and as a pause allowing signs already produced to assume new forms and continue their trajectory.

The works in ‘EXHM’ are acts of autobiographical, art historical and social archaeology. Ruby has turned inward, treating his studio as an excavation site where discarded, buried and collected artworks and materials are dug up and reanimated.

'Ain’t Painting a Pain'

at OCMA

Longtime Los Angeles artist Richard Jackson brings his wildly inventive contemporary painting style to the Orange County Museum of Art in Newport Beach. Much more than a contemporary portraitist, muralist or static painter, Jackson's work are electric, alive and playful.

LA ♥

'No man’s land' is a term used to refer to unoccupied land, a dumping ground, or an area abandoned due to uncertain fate. This idea of an uninhabitable region relays van Woert’s continued obsession with ecology, geology, and the complex history of terrain.

In decision making this public art work, process of researching, retrieving, reading, selecting, and then copying the contents of the books onto the cards was unique to each person.
It represents the distinct way that each individual seeks and finds meaning in what she or he reads.
